HISTORY of the project

The Road 2 Rio (The American Dream '14) project was a 10,000 mile, overland journey from Los Angeles, CA to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the Fifa World Cup, 2014.

The intent was to spread the beautiful game, which was accomplished by donating 100 One World indestructible balls and 40 Pugg portable soccer goals to orphanages along the route.

Through crowdfunding, Jeremie and Kyle were able to purchase a 1999 Dodge Ram Van and outfit it to live and work in. With the help of sponsors and their friends, made both on social media and along the way, they were able to drive the entire route, shipping their vehicle across the Darien Gap from Panama to Columbia.

Their journey took 52 days and ended with an additional vehicle carrying 4 more people.
